Guys I have had my first taste of OPC's when taking the Tiptress into OPC nottingham. I have to say not that impressed certainly when compared to the service I got from Northway Porsche Specialist where I bought the car from.

My OPC warrenty runs out soon and I was wondering how much impact it would have on the value having my servicing done at somewhere like Northway. I genuinly believe that the quality of the work is better at a good specialist than at the OPC. Would you guys still buy a 996 is servicing had been done through a good OPC e.g Northway, Autofarm etc.

Advice appreciated.

I would, provided the independent specialist is reputable and the work is good. Some Official Garages don't really give a toss in my opinion and they would be more of a worry.

Yeah, no worry if a good specialist, use JZ Machtech for future.

As soon as it's out of Warranty use a good specialist. As pokemon says most OPC's ( in my experience) couldn't give a toss once a car is more than 3-4 years old.

Also can't really see the point of paying about 70% more in an OPC just to get a cup of coffee and a few biscuits.
