I have been spoiling my car just lately, had her wheels refurbished (by Exel of course) and treated her to a trip round South West Scotland.

The roads are superb, traffic is light and the other road users are so courteous I am definitely planning another trip.

I knew the 911 is probably the best sports car in the world but did not realise what a good cruiser it is, I am well impressed with my first six months of ownership

Only had them done on my return, didnt want risk hitting a stray rock on the many B road passing points :-)

Baby is all tucked up in the garage for the night, will take some pics and post them tomorrow

Photos of refurbished wheels, what a difference they make

Lovely car and lovley wheels pal :thumb:

That does look very nice, the wheels look sharp, really enhancing the car.

refurbished wheels welcome north of the border

Always worth the money and effort isn't it, you can't beat nice looking alloys on a nice looking car.
Any how, even better than that - driving on our Scottish roads, get those wheels north and enjoy the best roads in the UK before you need your passport to visit! :D

We stayed in Dunoon, travelled up the long way round taking in the sites of Loch Lomond etc and spent a week driving round the Cowal Peninusla.
I have only ever been to Scotland watching or servicing on the old RAC rally so this was my first site seeing trip - you live in a beautiful part of the world with some fantastic roads & very friendly natives- wish the roads were de-restricted like the old days but still very enjoyable without breaking the sound barrier :-)
Am definitely planning another trip next year, maybe the Tummel valley area, could well be looking for dual nationality, my great grandparents were originally from Scotland - should help my application eh ?
