Im looking for an early 996 c2 manual at the moment.

One has appeared with a used car dealer (not a specialist). R plate, 44k fsh ocean blue/grey, manual, clear lenses, lowered, 18" turbo alloys within budget.

It ticks all the right boxes for me, apart from 2 big ones!

6 previous owners, plus stamped svc book HR Owen apparently but no bills or listings of work carried out.

Do you guys think its possible to get a listing from somewhere to confirm previous works carried out?

What do you think? Thanks.

Contact the servicing dealer and they will get a printout to confirm work undertaken.

Some OPCs won't do this anymore. Will quote the Data Protection Act at you.

6 owners is about par for the course-on average a 911 changes hands once a year.As for the service history bills it may be that if the car was run through a company then the bills went into the accounting system. If the car is straight most dealers would not object to taking the car to an OPC for an inspection at your expense and this is the course of action I would recommend. If the dealer will not do it then either there is something to hide or he is not trying hard enough.
