well its happened - the car is sold :-(
and now the moneys burning a hole in my pocket

really enjoyed the 911 experience and may return someday (with a 70's lightweight replica) but for now going down the kitcar route to something silly with a power to weight ratio of 300bhp but with only 700kg weight.... £200 Insurance and 35mpg, £100 service costs etc.

Car went to a good home (GT3 owner) in leeds. (what an ace car the GT3 is! fast and comfortable - wicked engine top end - but still 993 has the edge in an old fashioned way!)

just to let you know - new car sorted - deposit paid

v6 mid engined

230bhp/ton - sub 5 0-60 - 12second 0-100

32mpg and £275 Insurance! dirt cheap servicing and tyres - infact the money saved on Insurance alone will buy me a day at palmer sports ;-)
