Hi

Just got a 996C4S. The problem is, i cant park it, 8 years of BMWs with parking sensors and i am now useless at judging where the back of the car is. Unfortunately no parking sensors on the 996. Has anybody retro fitted any, with satisfactory results. Obviously dont want to bodge the back of the car.

Thanks

worth getting a pro to fit them, a set in the colur of your rear bumper

very useful and not that expensive, got a set of 4 Cobra sensors fitted to the wife's Ford Focus for £199 all in....... very useful

This sounds interesting. Hell of a lot cheaper than the 400 quid I had to fork out for a rear end respray.

please don't do this, it ruins the look of the car.

before buying mine I was looking at another advert for a good 911, the fact it had parking sensors actually made me dismiss it.

but i guess they are handy.

Thought the same, but my car happened to have them, have to admit find them very useful now...<i'll get my handbag and leave>

I agree, they look terrible, but having already
tw@ted
my rear end on a wall I would seriously concider them on another car. esp. since I can see myself doing again at some point.
