My experience of Porsche's used car 'Warranty' and 'Goodwill Programme' is - they are not worth the paper they are written on. Months of delays, obstuctions and excuses resulted in a final rejection of my claim. Why? Because " we never seen this happen before"!!! It subsequently turned out to be a manufacturing fault, but I still ended up having to pay in full for the necessary repairs.
Unless your car is under its two year warranty, take it to an independent - it will be far less hassle.

If its under manufacturers i.e under 2 years old yes
the Porsche extended warranties if its taken out after june this year is administered by the Porsche dealers in house so you don't have any of the hassle described above
