When I got my 996 last week I thought I'd get some boffins to have a look over it as well as the AA. So I had a chat with these guys

I would definatly recommend them. They were very reasonably priced and so helpfull. The chap that checkd the car was Richard. When he gave me a rather grulling list about what wrong screw was used to hold various pipes I asked him if he would chat to the dealer for me. I offered them some extra cash for thier time but they said they would'nt take it but were happy to talk to them for me.I had to pay them and extra £15 as the poor guy had to wait around for an hour because of the car not being where it should of been because of the dealer.I had organised with the dealer, The AA and ClubAutoSport to certain times of the morning. The dealer said they had no problem getting the car on the ramp for 10:30 yet it was'nt there. The porsche chap turned up on time but could'nt do anything and the AA to tie in after the boffin chap. I had spoken to The AA at 8am that morning to ask them what time they thought they'd be at the garage for the inspection. They recond at Noon. I asked the aa chap to call me just in case when he got there that the car was still being inspected my the 1st bloke. The AA got there with a lapse of 5mins of the other chap finishing off and did'nt call and buggered off! and re-booked the car in for Monday (Today) for me. They then had the damn cheek to argue over giving me a refund. eventually she said she would.JJ
