PORSCHE 911 3.2 Carrera "Clubsport" Spec.REDTEK
Full spec of the car is as follows.1987 Marine Blue 3.2 Carrera with factory LSD and G50 gearbox.
132,578 miles - Engine top end Rebuild with upgraded head studs carried out at by Nick Fulljames (Redtek)
132,578 miles - Gearbox rebuild, LSD service and clutch replacement carried by Nick Fulljames (Redtek)
133,896 miles - Major service carried out with Head nut torque check carried out
Oct 2023 -135,721 miles - Major service carried out including Oil, Filters, Plugs, Valve
Clearances and brake Fluid change.
11/06/2024 - 136471 Oil and Filter change.
Body and fittings
The floor pans are original with no visible repairs carried out. The bodyshell shows no signs of any previous accident damage (I’m not aware of any accidents and I’ve not had any since taking ownership). Some light surface corrosion was addressed soon after purchased the car with localised media blasting and epoxy primer.
The 6 point roll cage by Custom Cages was professionally Tig welded in. At the same time lowered FIA/MSA approved seat mounts were added.
In addition, the following modifications have been carried out.
Sunroof - deleted
Bumper blades - lightweight Fiberglass
Bumper Mounting tubes - lightweight aluminium
Engine Lid - fiberglass Carrera 3.0
Rear Window - 5mm Lexan
Rear Qtr. Windows -5mm Lexan
Front Screen - Laminated heated
Bonnet prop - RS style lightweight
Interior
The car is fully carpeted and had Dynamat Xtreme sound deadening fitted.
Harness - Takata 6 point
Steering Wheel - Momo Prototipo
Fire Extinguisher - 1.75L MSA handheld
Door Handles - 964RS
Dashboard - Flocked Finish
Electrical
The key upgrade to the electrical system was to replace the original fuse panel. The Classic Retrofit fuse panel utilises the more reliable Blade style fuses as well as incorporating headlamp relays. The relays allowing higher power headlamps to be fitted.

Suspension
The suspension has been fully rebuilt with the many of components upgraded. Standard Torsion bars have been retained with Boge dampers. Due to the cars weight reduction these provide a firm but comfortable ride.

As you can see the car is very much analogue, driver focussed stripped out spec based on the factory Clubsport prototype cars.
The car presents well but the paintwork could be improved in places.
Would be a great base for further development or a backdate etc.
Only issues I can think of are that the tyres are old and there's an intermittent problem with the driver's door lock that sometimes prevents the central locking from working.
