This looks like the passenger side, mine was deifnitly on the drivers side A-PillarThis also seems to be connected as per guidance of the original install sheet.
Tried switching the spare connector with the other but same outcome.
What is the circled wire connected to?

I did not touch anything in passenger A-Pillar, it was all Driver Side A-Pillar. If you use a multimemter you can buzz out the cables to confirm what goes where. But you basiclaly bypass that Amplifier in the Drivers Side A-Pillar, in fact I simply rmeoved it and threw it away. It has attenuators that wont allow DAB frequencies. There is a cable that comes in the PCCM+ kit that enables you to connect to the Aerial directly in the windscreen. Maybe thats whats been done on passenger side of your car but is that not the Mobile Phone Antenna on that side?Starting to wonder if it may be that the Antenna receiver isn’t good / strong enough because intermittence isn’t losing signal as much but going bleak. The sound fades in and out more than goes blank.
The goal is to bypass the white box on the a pillar. Disconnect the bit you highlighted green from the white box and plug it into whichever of the wires it will plug to. Probably the one with the gold plug.View attachment 99889
Its the middle connection. That black plastic bundle has an antenna sticker on the glass, returning and splitting into the connection to the middle port (green) and a ground. I disconnected that to check and the Radio in the same way as it does with it connected, including the issues)
Left.Do you have this piece on the Left hand or right hand side, I dont see it in the pics at all? P/N 99664259000
