Evening all,

I am thinking of having my front end painted (bumper, both wings, bonnet)

As Have about 20-30 stone chips and a
tiny
bit rust at the bottom of the window screen.

I need to take it to someone who knows what there doing of ! She is in black and want it all to match up with the unpainted rest of the car.

Does anyone know any REAL good paint sprayers who they have used ?,

and are not OPC prices !!!

Also following this like to get that clear film for the front end to save even more chips when done. (I know sundeep has the film on the front of his car, any idea when i can get this?)

Thanks for all the help, will not be getting the work done till sept. so I can put her in Storage for the winter (Nov-March) all nice and new looking.... ahhhhh...

Or Smartguard (no web site last time I looked but ads in 911 PW) who uses the same 3M film but charge you less. I used Armourfend on my 993 and later tried Smartguard on my wife's 5-series. The results are equally good.

As Sunddep said, I'd leave it for a couple of wks for the paint to harden before putting the film on.

Hi Dan, trust you are well sir. Try these guys. They are the official bodyshop for porsche centre tonbridge, but a very easygoing firm, i.e. if its not a Insurance/centre referal, they understand shelling from your own pocket. They cleaned, clayed, and orbital polished my whole car for £160.00 so they are not rip-off merchants. Speak to a fella called Daniel. Excellent chap.
