Just put a 964 C2 1990 into porsche france for a inspection.

They highlighted that it is not original parts for the rear wheels, spacers and bolts (I think as my french is not good).

How important is this to change them out for original porsche parts?

wouldn't think that these make a difference...

a change of alloys to an aftermarket brand can be quite normal...

Tyres are obviously not made by porsche !

as for the nuts / bolts / spacers there are perfectly fine aftermarket types out there... as I'm guessing it's quite easy to got to an OPC and buy up all the locking wheel nut combinations from the parts dept !

Thanks Sundeep,

Just asking as I bought the car a week ago and put it in for a check-up to see if there was anything lurking.

They only mentioned a couple of points, one bieng that the alloys, spacers and bolts were not original porsche parts and they would recommend changing them. However, they are immaculate and they look identical.

Was just curious if they are purely after my money or if they think it will degrade anything?. They speak french I dont!.
