I won 4and 2, winning the division and moving in to the last 16 in the club, with my partner of course.

And getting up early on a Sunday morning is hard work

sunday Golf, pipe dreams for me!

I need to get down the range, havn't played since mid Nov! Fourball at the East Course Wentworth. Went over my left ankle down a rut, thought I had broken my ankle, had to let a fourball through before I could stand on it. Played a blinder after, probably because I couldn't swing full power.

We should have a 911uk Golf tourney!

Had a good game at the East Sussex National, came fourth from a field of 110 about year ago, was staying at Brighton University on campus, about 750 of us on a sporting weekend, one to remember, in to Brighton in the night on the lash.

We should have a 911 Golf weekend, turn up on a friday night, play a round on the Saturday, out Sat night, and another round on the Sun morning then home.

If there was any interest I would be happy to organise,

It's a real ball ache transporting your golf bats in a 993 !! Has anyone mastered the art yet or got any tips ?

I washed the 3 today, looks sparkly clean.

I used to put then across the back seats, rear mats put on the sides to protect the trim. In the 3 they have to go on the passenger seat.

Back Seat, if you have passengers, making sure to take the woods out first,

On the front seat if no passengers,

And if you have the kids and the wife, then you take the clubs out of the bag and lie them diagonally accross the floor of the boot, floding the bag in half, if it is a small bag,

this only works on the Carrera 2, as the Carrera 4 uses too much of the lugage comprtment.

Dont bother even trying to get them in the C4S, I just use the old Audi instead.

Used to play off 5 about 7 years ago, then had a bad accident and broke my knee in to little bits, had pins and plates holding me together for a couple of years, gave the game up untill 18 months ago, when I started playing again, am now off 12

which gives me plenty of room to monovoure :wink:

I like the rear mats as protectors, so simple.

I wish golf clubs had special parking spaces for 911 owners to give them room when sorting all their gear in and out of the car.

Yeah I found out the hard way in my old 964, the bottom of the bag marked the trim, I was putting the bag back in at the club when I noticed, so just used the mats.

I used to regularly get two sets in the back, overnight bags and stuff for two, plus suit bags for two in my 993.

not so easy in the 3!
