...you will see says "Scotland" - but other people are a bit more specific - but I can't see how, in "edit my profile", I can do anything other than select a country from the drop down box.

How do I say "Glasgow"?

....Glesga.... i think is how you say it :P
..seriously tho..i think when it truns blue(the drop down menu that is) you just type it in and it then adds it

Well, for me, as I type Gla.... I get Gabon, Lao People's dem rep, Afghanistan and other such exotic Porsche deserts (like scotland but maybe less rust).

I think possibly I was able to type when I was setting up the profile.

I'm clicking on "Edit My Profile" on the left panel - have you seen anywhere else?

Mark

I think it gives you the personal option when you 1st register, but after that you are restricted to the generic locations..

Dear Mr Moderator

How can we re-set it? I changed mine when I went to Canada but now I'm back in the South London DMZ, I can only say I'm in the UK. :?

I have the same problem ... I might just re-register but change my name a bit.... like by adding a full stop or something? Not really a solution if you are into notching up posting numbers though I guess?
