Low milage 964 - what's it worth?

With prices of the 964 on the rise what do you think a low mileage 1990 964 C2 would be worth? Guards Red, linen interior, 35k miles and 2 owners

Private sale £25k dealer might have it up nearer £30k
 
I think you may get close to £30k private. If its mint I could see JZM selling at £35k
 
35K miles is low but what condition is the car in? Perfect then I guess a buyer would be found at early 30's. There are plenty of dealers who would give an idea of price SOR or outright sale.

I got mine at Brightwells a couple of weeks back
33k miles full history etc and all the extras (like the tape head cleaner!)

Totally unmolested and not had a prang etc

Paid 26 plus premium

Good buy, nice looking car!! Bet the paint looks fab when waxed. Would love to see pics when done.

With premium and all fees how much was it?
 
Son and I were at Goodwood in it today - we've done more miles this week than it's done since May 2010!

Gonna be a beeaatch to keep shiny as midnight blue shows every single mark imaginable

Oh, and don't forget that for my 29 and change I got a Tip!! And sight unseen! :o

Oh uber congrats!!!! That polished up a beauty. I think midnight blue is my fave colour... Look absolutely fab. Well done. You took a chance and it paid off.

So you had no viewing yourself? No test drive? No ppi? You must have been a tad worried when the hammer fell.

Got to ask, did you have a max price? And did you pass it or get close?

I can honestly say thats the first time I have seen a blue interior and gone :cloud9:

It looks brand new and too me this is one of the biggest benefits of buying low mileage. Mechanicals can be replaced but a new looking interior is gold! :thumb:
 
Hey dull witch, did you see mynpost for placement of your ipod in the ashtray too? Keeps the wires to a minimum.

I was on the school run when she went through - I'd put in an absent bid and it went for that - which is sort of suspicious but I knew what I was prepared to pay. Took me 90 minutes to find out who won!

Look, I got lucky and would not suggest it would work every time!

The PO was a chap on his 3rd Porsche - a 356, and SC and then this. He bought this new from Dick Lovett in Swindon (their 25th anniversary sticker is in the back window) in his early 60s and, bless him, was stopped from driving a year or so back by his family having had some close shaves in his daily driver.

There were no swirl marks from dodgy car washes on the paint (some road rash and a door ding) and a full - although timing-wise a potted - history

Fingers very crossed!
