hi, has any one out there had any dealings with this company, or better still has anybody actually purchased a vehicle from them? Has everything been straight forward with no extra charges as they claim.

I too have been considering buying from them but am concerned about some of the negative feedback out their - try googling 'Micronet Showroom' or 'David Loach' and 'Watchdog' (which this outfit appears to be linked to - see e-mail address) and you get some interesting results...

That said, this is obviously only these peoples views (and certainly not mine in case I get into legal hot water!) and I've also seen a number of threads on this site from people who have successfully purchased from them....

who featured on BBC watchdog a few weeks ago

LHDPorsche.com does indeed share the same offices as Micronet Showroom but is a completely seperate company.

We have an excellent reputation, Unlike some car dealers on this forum we dont feel the need to keep self advertising our services.

We have sold cars to at least 3 customers on this forum, who were all happy with their cars and service.
Dave good for you to stand up for yourself.

BUT, I fear that sharing showrooms with this other crowd isnt going to be good for business. Ive read good stuff about you guys on this and other forums and when I eventually change the LHD 993 I was/am planning to talk with you. But having read the thread on mini2 I was beging to doubt this. I know its not that simple but if I were you I'd get the hell out of there

good point there martyn as well as the original comment by Mark Pearce

I would agree being in the same offices can easily only lead to the wrong opinions being reached, Mark did raise a valid point from the perspective of the consumer in light og what micronet has been up to, as I am sure you can understand how such info can be misread...

just a penny for your thoughts

Just for your info, the dealer in question brings far more to this forum than just his "self advertising".

Yup, like the very nice prize he donated to the curry night. Which I didn't win. Dammit :(

Hmmm... I remain to be convinced as the website re-inforces this connection with said Micronet showroom.

As copied from current site today:

The '
[b:BsEm0nKnOE][u:BsEm0nKnOE]
' is a trading name - and was setup and is owned by Partners D & R Loach

Surely it would be commercial suicide to stay in the same premises if you really were a separate outfit?

At the end of the day it is up to every individual to draw their own conclusions from the information that is in the public domain...
