I've just got back from Eynsham Hall.....

Got lost once I got past Oxford as there are no signs from the A40 to Eynsham Hall, but hey there were enough other Porsche drivers milling around lost as well !!

Anyway, overall the event was okayish.. there was nothing really new there at all. Also I found that compared to Goodwood this was event completely static.

Worth a trip but you'd probably get a bit bored after a couple of hours..

I'm in two minds if to go tomorrow - is there much there for 2 year olds? The map mentioned something about fairground rides etc. I'd be quite happy to kick a few tyres, but I'm a little concerned that the wife and toddler would get bored super quick.

Phil,

There are some dodgems, and a waltzser. Not sure I would put even my three year old on those !

For the wifes there's a handbag stall, jumper stall and a plant stand !!

It probably is worth going if its a nice sunny day. Plus you can always stop off somewhere for a bite to eat and make a nice afternoon of it.

By the way it's closer than I thought it would be, I used the M40 then from jct the A40. Its about a 120 miles round trip from pinner.

Ps. I only saw three or four 993 Targa's which made me happy and one of them was my mate who went with me !

:)

Magic,

Shame I couldn't do today, we could have convoyed. I am going tomorrow with my brother in law, leaving the handbrake and ankle biters at home. I am a member he is not, can non-members get in?

The auto jumble is tomorrow, always worth a gander.

Got back at 2pm (arrived at 10.15), never seen so many Porkers in one place in my life, was a bit boring though, needs a drag strip or track, but then looking at the "clientele" probably wouldn't go down well.

tried to buy something but only came back with a magazine.

especially after my m/card was refused whilst trying to buy a new GT3 on the porsche stand, *****!

Poon,

So it was you! I spotted you on the road that goes from Eastcote to Pinner @2.22pm. I remember thinking is that Poon... shouldn't he be at Eynsham Hall... and what a great pair of T**s !!!

Ps. I was in the wife's BMW Cab...
