Dear Forum members
Looking at a 993 and I was wondering who offers the best value Insurance these days.
My 911 SC was insured by Carole Nash.
The car would be parked in an underground car park in north London.

Cheers

Zohar - am also in N London and similarly have UG private parking for 911. Currently have a 25 plate RS6 that is on road parking. Adding Porsche as 2nd vehicle in Feb when I got my 993 Turbo to my Admiral Insurance, got multi-car discount and I ended up with a rebate!

Was told that if I also moved home Insurance to them as well would get more back again.

So - mainstream Insurance may also be ok depending on your circumstance.

Locktons have been brilliant to deal with. Have both of my 911s with them on agreed value basis.

Wasn’t the most expensive or the cheapest but on value proposition and ease they were the best from my search.

I have 3 cars in UG parking
An Alfa spider series 2
A Mercedes 280 SE 3.5 ( W108 )
And till recently the SC ( to be replaced )
I use admiral for my daily , a VE Passat gte estate so I’ll try that thanks.
Lets get a coffee and compare notes.

I’ve just renewed with Admiral, competitive pricing and very prompt answering the phone to field queries, thought it was an Indian call centre but turned out to be swansea 😂

Same! Lad I was dealing with liked his cars, ended up chatting for about 15 mins on the RS6 and the 911. At one point I thought he was going to invite himself up to London to meet! Was super helpful, responsive and good pricing.

Performance Direct for me - they've been a fab broker and the improvements etc have been dealt with very sensibly

I was with them last year with my MGB. The policy was £75 and then £35 return from TopCashBack :ROFLMAO:

I went with Footman James on an agreed value basis for my 993. Be careful with some of the bigger insurers, as they don't offer agreed values.

A-Plan here on an agreed value policy...

Below is my go to list for insurers, I'm currently with Admiral for a fleet policy, which includes an X1, a 997.2 and Yaris runaround, with generous mileage allowances. I would prefer to go back the likes of ClassicLine or Locktons but I live in London and mileage/location causes issues for me on the specialist insurers.

Classic Line (agreed value)
locktons (agreed value)
Hastings Premier (agreed value)
A Plan cherised Vehicle - agreed value

Admiral
Manning
RH Specialist vehicle Insurance
LV
NFU
Adrian Flux
Howdens
