De vrouw is rechtsafgedraaid (vanuit de wandelboslaan naar de statenlaan) en heeft de paal over het hoofd gezien (al dan niet verblind door de zon). De paal was net van te voren omgereden door een Portugeese vrachtwagenchaffeur. Deze persoon heeft de paal zo langs de kant van de weg neergelegd (met een stuk over het wegdek!!!!). En is daarna weggereden. Shocked Tijdens de draai is de paal rechtsvoor binnengedrongen bij de Corsa. De vrouw heeft nog wel iet5s gevoeld aan haar elleboog, maar heeft niets opgelopen. Zelfs geen kleerscheuren.

Lady driver turned right and didn't see the lamp post probably blinded by the sun. The post had been knocked down by a Portuguese lorry driver earlier who put it at the side of the road (with the top hanging over the road surface!!). When the woman turned she speared the car from the front right hand side. She felt something touching her elbow but is unharmed.

Police were greatful that no one was injured when two motorist were caught jousting ont the public highways. :wink:
