Just got a quote from Hayward & Scott for a set of muffler bypasses. They responded very quickly with a very competetive quote (much cheaper than the Fabspeeds etc..).

Does anyone have any experience with them, or their products? Has anyone even heard of them?!

Any help much aprreciated.

Yep, I went and had a full custom exhaust including downpipe on an Evo 7 I used to own.

The quality and service was second to none. Good bunch of guys and amazing quality exhausts.

Not the cheapest, but definitely one of the best.

Hi Don, if you dont mind me asking, how much did they quote? I have been thinking of muffler bypasses for a while but I am not keen on the tips in the Fabspeed ones. Did they quote you for just the pipe so your existing tips can be used as I might be interested too?

Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark,

Like you I don't like the Fabspeed tips and happen to have chrome oval tips anyway. They quoted £300 excl. VAT and delivery. I would probably pick them up so that means £352.50. The FVD bypasses from their website are €295 + tax but then they include tips.

Perhaps H&S might do us a deal if we both ordered or even got a few more peeps interested. What do you think?

Don.

ps Where abouts are you?

Hi Don, sorry for the delay in posting, I have been away. Did you go for the H&S bypasses as I would be interested to hear them. BTW, I am based in Colchester.

Thanks, Mark
