Hi Guys,

The wife got done (again) yesterday by our nice friendly Mr Plod with a laser gun :(
. I'm now going to buy 3 LRC's, so that each of my cars are covered. Is anyone else interested?? If so, then I may be able to get a nice discount for a bulk purchase.

Take a look at
www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk
for information on them.

James

I would be up for this, aswell as a friend of mine. Now the question is which unit is the best?

Do you mean the Target LRC 100 Laser Jammer?

I'm interested but the question is which devices are legal in which countries. I drive all over Europe so I don't want to be disconnecting/reconnecting stuff every time I cross a border. Does anyone know where I can find EUrope-wide jammer/detector legality info?

Have you read this?

Might be worth reading before you buy!
Hi Graham,

I saw this, but the guy that was done was a bit of a pratt! Apparantly he drove by the same "trap" in excess of 30 times to try and wind the coppers up. You'll also notice that it says that the guy was arrested, but it fails to mention that he was in fact never prosecuted.

It is fully legal to fit one of these devices to your car to "open electronic garage doors", it's just an added perk if they also stop Police from talking your speed!

Yep!

Ronnie, this looks like the best unit. There is also a good one from Bel that supports both front and rear diffusion
, and tested on a 911 worked very well.

OK guys, here is the latest:

- RRP - £349

- Best price that I could find on the web - £299

- Found a guy on e-bay that would supply 3 units for £275 each, just sent him an e-mail to see what he'll do for 6 units. I'll try and squeeze him down to £260 inc p+p.

Abuse from somebody who's ambition in life is to last more that 5 minutes (and who surfs lesbian websites but that's another story that I can't possibly go into here  ).

Yeah I know the DB7 is just an old Jag with a supercharger and a different body but..........it's a bit like why drive a 911 when there are "better" cars out there for the same money. Friends used to say that to me when I was driving the 993. As I used to say to them, if you have to ask then you just don't get it.

Anyway.....been thinking about getting the 2.7 (or, as my wife calls it, "that bloody pile of bits" ) turned into a 2.7RS replica by Autofarm. Anybody have experience of them?
