Hi folks,

I'm looking to go to the Friday session at the Goodwood festival of speed this year.

Can anyone recommend which would be the best grandstand location to book tickets for?

Thanks

Robert.

Hi Rob,

Can you post a link re the festival so I can have a look, I might be interested in going

Any advice from others who have attended, re where to stay , what day to go on and what to take would be appreciated.

Park Grandstand opposite the house facing the big event screen.

All you need is here

Be quick - they get booked up early.

This is the view

Guys what do you need for access to the paddocks? Does it come free with admission or is it with grandstand entrance? Ive tried the website but couldn’t work it out.

Thanks

GFOS is fantastic - the best motorsport event in the UK. Its so accessible, and you can get right up close to the cars in the paddock. Best grandstands are Park, Paddock or Molecomb

Rob, apparently grandstand tickets go quickly - worth making a call soon to avoid disappointment.

You can go pretty much anywhere with your regular ticket (apart from the grandstands).
FOS is pretty much the only car show where you can get really up close to cars you've only ever seen pictures of!!!

I'll be there again (Saturday)

If you can afford it, the best thing to do is walk round on the Saturday, and then sit in a grandstand all day for Sunday!

I'm looking forward to the special 40th anniversary display of Lamborghini Miuras
, and the rally stage which I never got round to last year...

Looks like ALL the grandstand seats are sold out... :(

Best go for admission only, and hope we can find a decent view somewhere.

Two tickets on ebay for the sunday, park g'stand, may be worth considering, but I want to go on Friday.

I'm sure there will be some corporate tickets available if you know the right people!
