Garage Door - Any recommendations

Hey All

So can anyone recommend me a garage door manufacturer + fitter - NorthWest based (Manchester).
I have no idea what brands make good garage doors - Not looking for the Rolls Royce of doors, ideally something middle of the road - something that's good value, but feels solid.

I've come across Lathams - anyone have one of these? How good are they?

Door has to have a pedestrian door that I want to use as our main door. Dont require to actually park inside the garage - only if we're going away somewhere. No need for automation or electric opening either.
 
I would most definitely recommend having one rather than not having one!
 
We used Garage Doors Lancashire who are based near to Preston. They have a great showroom and they are fabulous to deal with. The door they fitted for us was half the price of the other quotes I had because it was a door from a previous canceled order.
 
My Hormann garage doors are brilliant; however, as I am in East Anglia I have no idea who might fit them in your neck of the woods.
 
I fitted a crocodile garage door last year and got 'interest free' terms! Excellent door and very happy. Nationwide fitters and 3 year warranty. They have been about a long time. No association.
 
Horrman at home, even have an app on my phone to operate (y)
 
I've got a Hormann - so far, it's been flawless.
 
Thread from 2024 regurgitated? I would go for roller over sectional.. as the latter take up too much headroom and far more likely to have issues. I have two sectional and one roller door... replaced the lift/drop mechanism/motor on the sectionals with Hormann kit. A lot of issues can be down to the degree of competance of the fitters..
