Hi,

I'm looking to Improve the look of my interior so I'm opting for a double din with sat nav and Bluetooth for hands free.

Not having a clue but reading on the www how do I know if I have most or not, I don't have sat nav now (PCM) and the only Bose I can see is in my doors.

I don't mind having a crack at things but reading round some forums I'm getting the feeling cars with most ( I don't know what this is) seem to be more complicated, for the layman, to change.

All pointers/ tips/ what to look for and avoid are welcome.

Cheers

Hi mate, I just updated my PCM1 in my 2002 Turbo. I had the BOSE kit non MOST. I ordered a fitting kit from eBay (delivered from US of A) and it took 3 hours to fit. I had to make a holder to replace the sat nav disc unit and it looks pretty darn awesome.

I have a 996 turbo 2003, How do you know if your car has MOST or not.

I think you have the Fibre Optic system. Post 2002 models usually have them, but hopefully someone more qualified will reply shortly.

Yea I just found another topic on his and it seems that the MY2003 upgrade included it.

Just need to double check my vin number.

Cheers for the reply

If I was you I'd definitely look into the detail on what is required for the change of head end. For MOST systems, it's quite significant.
