looks like a scam to me... unless the light is playing tricks on that photo, that certainly isn't a widebody... And besides... £35k for a P-reg TT?

1) shouldn't there be a turbo inscription on the lid just above the rear reflector strip

2) these alloys were standard on the 993tt yet in this picture the rear wheels are sticking out to much. me thinks a) copy alloys with wrong offsets, b) he's fitted wheel spacers to the rear, but why? c)its not a wide body car to start with! Like you said Roddy, "and for some reason the rear arches don't appear to be wide"

No reserve means nothing i sore a guy on ebay who stated in his title NO RESERVE yet the car was up for auction 5 times. Turns out he'd canceld the auctions just before the end if he didnt get the price.

This looks like a ringer, photos have been messed with look at the side window on the side on shot. Probably Cat D repair IMO

just playing devils advocate , but would someone seriously advertise a turbo and expect a buyer to turn up and pay without checking the motor first.
this is possible ,
i suppose, but market for tt very specialised & only people who know their stuff would be intrested. i would be amazed if the buyer didn't know this!!
with regards spoiler i have seen tt's with aftermarket kit, why i don't know?
i cant judge the cars width from pics because my screen is 6cm by3cm!!!!
however it does look wider than my old993, though this could be the reflector strip.
re no reserve oldest trick in the book, withdraw last min.

I always check the dealing history - some nasty feedback from a while ago - then a few deals in the last 3 months that were for 10p / £5 with people who are no longer registered or have <10 transactions....

I would definitelyvisit him first, then ask Peter Morgan to take a look before bidding anything.

I loved the diesel bit. Its a tractor in porsche clothes. Not a turbo at all its a narrow body standard car with a wing on the back. Maybe he thinks it makes it go faster as that what wings do dont they??????
