Hi all,

This could be a slightly controversial topic or a conflict of interest ! Although I have noted that many of you respect other manufacturers and the automobiles they produce. Indeed many of you also drive other cars.

So to the question "Bang for your buck" which car gives you the biggest bang for your $$$$

Note, that in no way shape or form will this detract me buying a 911 !!!

Here are a couple of suggestions:

Toyota Celica GT4

Volvo T5

Golf GTI (The old ones of course !!)

had to use of one for a week got me hooked on fast cars. At £7000 now cheap too.

Old Beetle!

I learnt/practice heel-toe and oversteer in it. Getting the tail to slide out at 25mph is quite nice.
