Hello,

I am seeking an old 911, but I dont have alot of spare cash :-(
I am looking for any model 911 (or 912) - any year, any spec, rhd or lhd, that's in running order, and one I can fix/restore over time.

Can anyone recommend any sites, dealers, auctions in the UK - or in Europe - willing to travel to find it!! Is a budget of up to £5 totally rediculous? I have seen some advertised for under £5 with serious problems, however I have also heard of people going to Germany to get fantastic deals on old 911's.

Any advice or help is much appreciated!!

Great adventure! Good luck but £5k won't get you much and you might need to spend many times more to fix / maintain it. Go for a targa LHD, might just find one in that price.

As long as you can do the work yourself, that's easily achievable. Look in the back of the Porsche mags, eBay, the other usual suspects. You'll certainly get a cheaper LHD one.
