Caught cheating, court appearance or MOT test? The worst?

Well out of the three, the first MOT on my 993 definitely was the worst!

Amazing how doing something I have done for 30 years on other cars left me a nervous wreck this morning. Didn't even have a coffee before I left home and felt sick in the stomach when the test was being done.

Passed with no advisories so can prepare myself for the mental anguish of doing it again in a year!

I learnt something new in that I had been driving around with non-standard license plates since I got the car. Good thing I had the "proper" plates with me and the tester was good enough to put them on for me.

Must sleep - mentally tired......................

I always compare the feeling during an MOT to that on the morning of an exam back in school - like the exam it's always great when it's all over!

I compare the feeling more akin to the exams I studied for. :thumb:

Even when I'd studied I got that sinking feeling walking into the exam hall - up until the last exam of my Masters! Can't say I miss it - I have an MOT coming up on Monday though!

The sinking feeling is probably down to the fact that someone else is copping a feel of your loved one!

Never taken an exam so don't know what you're on about.

However, I didn't like the feeling when a few years ago, the OPC centre asked for £900 to change the rear CV boots which showed a small sign of cracking - MOT fail, apparently.

But I know better now.
