Whilst still waiting for owners manual, could anyone please tell me what bulb types a 993 has in the mail headlights, seems to be an H1 for the high beam and can't see the regular beam. I know I could take them out and check but wanted to get the correct ones before removing inner guard.

Also will these headlight units take 130 watt for the highs and 100 watt for the low beam?

For sidelights some people are using
a BMW bulb that improves the Porsche part by
6 watts : 10
watts in total. The part number is for the BMW part is:


63-31-1-375-003




I don't know about use of the higher wattage you refer to. There have been some threads on alternative headlights for the 993.
