Just been speaking to LLoyds Bank about my free AA cover and they told me that for a payment of £53 pa, the AA will pay up to £500 towards repairs in the event of a breakdown (with a £25 excess) It doesn't cover the normal wear & tear items like tyres, brakes, clutch plates etc. But here's me thinking that it does cover 2/3 the cost of a replacement RMS if needed.

Has anyone got any experience of this offer from the AA? I haven't taken it out yet so what do you think?
