GT Silver 997.1 Turbo - being wrapped a week from now.
Only wrapping the rear third of the car as an homage to the Cyberpunk Porsche 930.

Question that came up with the wrap guys - how do you remove the rear spoiler without damaging and losing the hydraulic function?
Too avoid them wrapping 'around' the struts i'd like them to be able to take the wing off. Otherwise I'll have 5mm gaps for each strut where the wrap around them.

Can anyone point me to a guide o video on how to remove the Turbo wing without risking any functionality?

Pictures of wrapped car to follow. Reference below:porsche-911-turbo-type-930-cyberpunk-2077-1977-silver-green-red-1-43-minichamps-wap0209300ntrb...jpg

Make absolutely sure that you post some pics.... sounds epic....!!!!

So the wrap is done... and i've painted my track day helmet to match... perhaps a little overkill to imitate a video game/hotwheels... but I like it. Honestly I love it. It came out better than i had hoped.
Thanks to Bradley at The Wrap Pod in Leeds for doing the wrap and the 'TURBO' Graphic.

Between the wrap, the Apple Car Play Pioneer head unit and the 992 steering wheel, i feel like I have taken something fairly 'retirement spec' and made it something fun.
All reversible for re-sale. But gives it a little life for the next couple years (and continues to protect the paint).

Let me know your thoughts.

Referred to as 'Glass Bottle Green' if memory serves.
It's matte, no flake or glitter... bit more heritage look.
Afraid I don't remember the sample code.

Cool fair play to changing it up not sure about the black arch protectors spoils the lines of the Graphics, any plans for a wheel change?

Yeah I know what you mean. It was a discussion at the time, but we decided to honour the reference.
In the flesh it gives it a little more rugged appeal, especially once road dirty. But in the pictures it does look a little out of place.

No missing the turbo on the back😁
You know what's funny - i thought "Man this is wild, head turner... have I gone too far... maybe its even a little embarrassing".
Then I went to a cars n coffee aaaaaaaand no-one gave two shits :)
Subtlety gets you NOWHERE!
Even with the shouty TURBO, it was just a green Porsche in the parking lot whilst people took photos of the Orange McLaren and the Gold Lambo.

Preem, choom.
