997 or 996 Turbo?

I have been looking at my options to get a 911 in the next few months. I was initially looking at a new / nearly new 997 C2 or C2S. However, looking around at the moment you can get a low mileage 996 Turbo for the same money. This gives a dilemma. :?

What do you think the pros & cons of 997 are vs. 996 turbo?

996 Turbo, great car, loads of performance for the money. However, sit in one and then sit in a 997 and the newer car feels so much better. With the 997 Turbo out soon, the prices of the old 996 model are likely to fall still further.

Get the 996 Turbo, fantastic VFM at the mo, awesome performance, done A LOT of the depreciation ,IMHO can't see how such an accomplished car can fall much more..enjoy it and then upgrade to 997 turbo when they have done the depreciation....well...thats my plan after the C4S anyway....just have to sell it to the other half...
