996TT Boot Floor Pic

Slightly random request I know.

On purchasing my 996TT I have realised that for some reason, the car has been supplied with the wrong spare, and it also looks like it is missing a false floor?

The spare doesn't have the folding tyre on, and thus can't lay flat on the floor. I have also noticed that the other spares are loose in the compartment.

I'm on the look out for the correct spare (may just change the tyre), but am not sure what else I am missing.

If someone could take a quick pic of their boot floot, with parts, it would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks,

James

Under cover =

Space saver wheel

Compressor

Tool roll

Jack in a bag

Warning triangle

+not sure what the thingy is on the bottom RHS of pic but it's attached so I assume your car has one too.

All neatly covered by a piece of hard board covered with matching carpet.

Perfect - thanks T8.

Going to need to find the part nbumber for that Hard board cover now!

I notice you're in Kent? Where abouts are you? I'm just outside Canterbury.

p.s. the thingy on the bottom right is the amp for the stereo unit.

Bringing this back to life, am looking everywhere for the part. Number for the false floor which sits above the spare. Doesn't seem to. Be in the parts diagram, and I can't find it for sale anywhere.

Would really appreciate it if anyone could help!

Probably cheaper to go to a specialist breaker and by the complete installation

Ive removed my spare and the false floor (but will keep them for resale) why dont you take a template of the false floor and cut one in a thin marine ply and cover with some black acoustic carpet that you can buy in any car stereo shop, if your near me you can copy mine.

Great idea, I'm in Kent unfortunately, but there are a couple of guys round here I could probably take a template from. Thanks for the offer though!

Have you called the parts department at your local OPC?

In case it makes it easier to trace the part number, I believe that boot floor cover is the same part for the 996 Turbo, C4 and GT2/3 models (but not other 996 RWD versions).
