As discussed in an earlier thread I'm starting to look around for a 993 Turbo. Thing is that the prices seem to widly fluctuate from sub £40k for higher milers to a well known car dealer in North London with a STUPID price tag of £55k. Ok if that was a Turbo S then the rarity value would alone stand that kind of dollars. So question is what is the benchmark roughly???

avoid such north london dealers.........

turbo S do hold their value somewhat better althogh brand new they were £125k !

in view of 996 Turbo prices below £50k......

aim to buy for up to £40k

but have a look at this one, I know the owner and it's a good one.... if you are after a leftie.. at around £36k IIRC

Thanks Sundeep but looking for RHD only. North London dealer will be avoided but seems to be the only one around at the mo. I've got time so will keep my eye out.

Congrats on the new position!

These cars are meant to be driven. Hard. Why spend over 50k on these low mileage 10+ year old cars which will depreciate heavily to the mid-30s as soon you start driving them as intended? Not sure I'd ever pay such a premium for the ability to just look at them... Imho, that LHD silver one in the mid30s is a good example of a mechanically well maintained 993TT as cared for by an enthusiast.
