Just to get the experienced crowds opinion.

A car recently advertised, retailing at £35K in Northern Ireland. I owner, 1 OPC stamp on service and garaged car looks impeccable.

Is it worth it??

Sounds good to me, well worth looking at.

I bought my 18k miles 2 owner Targa and have never seen another 993 in as good condition since. For me low owners and mileage is very important when choosing a car.

The 996 which I've just bought to replace my 993 has only done 12k miles.

If you are really interested I would'nt hang about.

I went to view my 993 within hours of it being advertised and was at the front of the queue !!

Car looks great in photo, although a good premium for it. Where has it been for 9 years with only 12k to show for it? Whenever I talk to the guys at JZM they always answer that a car that is used regularly (every day even) is often the best arrangement. What do people think? On a different note, what is the official colour? When were the Turbo wheels and spoiler added? Bob.B.

This seems like a very good price. Have a look, get it checked, if it's all OK then go for it!

only 1 service stamp?

Looks fairly priced. When I bought mine, I agreed with the seller that he would take it off the market until I'd had it inspected. He imposed a time limit on me making an offer and completing the deal which gave him protection, and it all worked out well.

I would hope that it has been serviced more than once. It should have at least had 7-8 annual services, which may have been done at specialists.

maybe he's meaning only one OPC has stamped it since new as opposed to just 1 service since new

hi guys,

ive seen the car and considered buying it last year when it was still showing 12000 miles. it has only had 1 service in the whole of its life, at opc belfast in 2001 showing 9000 miles approx. it has had three local owners from new, (2 of which are in the car trade) the second being the one who fitted the turbo s bodykit.not sure about when the wheels were added but i think they went on at this point too. it is in literally as new condition with marble grey standard seats, an alpine stereo, a fitted car cover and just the standard spec. the service history was the biggest concern for me plus it seemed to have not been used for a couple of years according to the tax disc. the owner was asking 42k for it when i saw it which was too much for me with the history and didnt want any headaches from an under used car. also i think it will need four new tyres as to me they seemed they were deteriorating with age.

hope this helps!
