depends on your chassis number as to whether it needs it or not - speak to your local opc

you can do these in a morning with no problems early cars pre-varioram are easier

Why bother? Just give your chassis no. to any OPC, and if it needs replacing, they'll do it for free. My was done free even though it was a LHD German import!

What's the catch? How come OPC bend over backwards to repair this fault/issue? Maybe cos there are not as many 993s out there????? I find it strange. :?

It was a recall. The insulating material used on the wires in earlier models dry and crack and fall apart, resulting in short circuits and fire in some cases!
