My C4S, suffered a chatastrofic performance failure today.

Very dissapointed.

I noticed on a 2 hour trip from Aberystwyth to home this morning that my car had lost a lot of power.

I would imagine that it had a lot to do with the fact that I had a 18 stone chap in the passenger seat, and a 15 stone fella in the back seat, a huge suitcase (for a porsche) in the other rear seat. The boot was full of all the crap you have on a weekend away.

So I have definative proof that my 996 is a full blooded four seater

With a combined weight of ocupants in the car of approx 45 stone, a full fuel tank, a full boot and a big suitcase, I wonder what my power to weight ratio was.

Thankfully, once all the weight was removed the performance returned.

It's a sign! You need a GT2!

Bear in mind the wt difference between a normal 993 and an RS is a fat passenger, not surprised you felt the difference!

At least I have a cheaper way of going faster in my C4S,

Less fuel,

Lose a few pounds.

Driving in your birthday suit would probably help as well, but i think there are laws against that.

I saw a beautiful black GT2 on the wa to my girlfreind's. I think you need a black GT2 Daz. It's the only logical solution.

If i strip all the unrequired shi* out of the car, and slim down to 2 stone, I should be getting close to the power to weight ratio of the GT3.

Daz, your mate Henry only want around 64k for his one over at virgin 911, also would only be able to carry one other person, so more weight savings. Hmmm wonder what he'd give px for my GT3....
