Hi all, have seen a nice C4S that is a good 250 miles from me, before i view it i want to try my best to make sure it is right and contact with seller confirms work it has had done and bores inspected etc.

Main thing putting me off at the moment is it is de badged at the rear, is the carrera c4s badge stick on, are they relatively cheap and easy to buy?

Thanks in advance

Andy

Stick on yes, cheap no, easy to buy yes,
You can buy a red S from the states in enamel looks nice for £50 :thumb:

I do think the S looks good in red - was wondering about painting mine or even a bit of red wrap would do it - i wonder if anyone does that.

Is that 50 quid for the full word "carrera 4s" ?
Didn't think I was being picky, just think with these cars they look best when original? (Apart from a stereo upgrade of course ;) )

Yes - I believe 911uk site sponsor SpectralUK does:

Sorry. Must have misunderstood. I thought you were not going to see the car because the badge was missing.

You might find from the coding that this is an original option badge deletion, mine also had the same, however previous owner like decided he preferred the badge and added it.

Have you also checked that all the wheel centres are aligned with the tyre valves?

I may well like it without the badge when i see it in the flesh, it may make it look a bit unique and more turbo like? haha.

Wheel centres and valves? Hmmmmm i think this is a bit of sarcasm? :)

When Im back in the country in a few days, when i am il put the link on to get peoples comments before i go for a very very long drive to view it.

Only problem is, if its good enough il want it there and then due to the drive there alone, but it might be one of the first cars i view :s
