Help please. Newbie. The engine compartment blower has ceased working. I have battery reading of 12.2v when not running and 14.08 when running. The readings from the engine bay taken from the connector are 11.98v and 13.45v. The blower will run if wired directly to the battery but not a peep when connected in the engine bay. I have power, should it not run? Thanks.

its well worth checking the fuses behind the plastic cover left side of your engine bay. The 25a fuse no2 is for the rear blower. Even though you have power at the fan it could be weak current due to a bad connection at the fuse...sometimes just a spin of these fuses can get things going again! There is also a cluster of earths bolted to the left side of the inlet manifold...check for good connection here..

Absolutely spot on Matty.B with the fuse. Thank you very much for that.
Your very welcome! Although I'm fairly new to the forum I do have 20 years of experience fixing these cars..Hope I can be more help in the future! :thumb:

Good call, start with the cheapest fix :thumb:
That is how I start myself.
