Hi,

After fitting new condensers last month and doing a 2K mile trip next week thought it'd be a good idea to try and preserve the life of them. Did a DIY mesh guard today with a couple of mesh sheets I bought off eBay for £15.47. Looks quite good and should stop any nasty stones puncturing the rads.

See photos below.

2 small M4 nut & bolts through the mesh into the plastic shroud at the back part that's covered with the PU. The front inside edge is just pushed up against the shroud in front of the condenser.

Had the PU off again today so took a couple of quick snaps showing how I'd bolted the mesh in.

Great looking job there Alex.. :thumb:

Been on 5 years now and still looks the same. Condensers still clean as a whistle too.

What's the spec Of The mesh? What do you type as eBay search? I get millions of hits no idea what to use..
Thanks
