Have you noticed any added NVH with those mounts mate . Thumb[/quote]

No not at all Phil. Little bit louder on first start up but once I got going and they settled in they are great

Really pleased with them. Handling a lot sharper and more confidence in the car

Good to hear, the rennlines on my gen1 were a bit louder on start up but settled down , I have got some preloved RSS semis to try when I get the car back , looked for preloved as they should already be broken in and reduce the NVH from the off. but failing that if I am not happy the plan was to try the RS type so good to hear first hand .thanks mate

For the money well worth it.

Check with Matt they work on the gen 2. The 996 and 997 use longer bolts than the 993 but comes in the kit with everything you need

I always felt the rennline ones and even the rss can be a bit hard for road use and do give more nvh. The rs mounts from Matt have more rubber in them than the semi solid ones but less than oem

Have you done the gearbox Mount too Phil using the power flex yellow street inserts? You have a manual but worth doing. The new ones with the trimmed edges are a lot better than the old ones

Fitted a 991 spoiler. Fantastic kit which I found via a thread on Rennlist - link below

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/1112698-991-sports-lip-spoiler-adapter-for-997-1-done.html

If you are looking for a spoiler to complete the overall appearance and use OE Porsche parts then this is the kit for you!

Thanks mate , I will bear this in mind if the RSS are a bit harsh Thumb not doing the GB mount as removed it from the gen1 as too much NVH although power flex do have a reengineered design now thats supposed to have removed the NVH so who knows may give it a try. Grin Thumb

Didn’t get anything under the tree for Christmas so treated the 997 to these...

KW variant 3s. These are the GT3 spec ones so a bit updated from the standard 997 ones and also come with uniball topmounts all round so will tighten everything up nicely

They are also the narrow bodies to allow more wheel clearance on the front so will need to make some little sleeves to get them to fit in the non GT3 uprights.

First mod.

Got some Sports while the Classics are at Exel with Chris getting a refurb. A little extravagant but nice!

Bought a set of Vertini Magic wheels for my 997.2 C2s - same colour as Phil 997's apparently - no pictures because they haven't arrived yet, and even when they do I need to buy tyres - Had been thinking Michelin PS4S but the guys from Projex tell me that Michelin's may rub and I should consider something else.

Having previously rewired the PDK buttons to work like paddles, and currently considering a set of sports seats which I have been offered and retrofitting cruise control I am starting to feel like a slippery modding slope may have been encountered!

Aah, great, I was looking at this very mod myself this week! Looks great. Do you mind me asking the total cost? Did you buy the adapter kit in US and have it shipped over, and the buy the 991 part here? Thanks!

Understated class is what you've created there. Love the simple 911 badge rather than the current trend of war and peace. With the clear lenses, it finishes it off perfectly.
A suggestion would be to wrap the section in between the exhaust tail pipes in black like a GTS and then I think you can do no more.
Jib well done Thumb

Thumb Satin black wrap on rear bumper was my next job when it gets a bit warmer.
