Trying to spec a turbo:
So far I am thinking of Aetna Blue with Espresso Natural Leather and Mahogany Wood, Beige Dials/Belts, high-gloss Trim Strips. Sports Steering.
Question 1 : Will a glass sunroof spoil the look ? Sport Classic Wheels ?

2. However I also like the White Dials, possibly with Yachting Blue Leather/Belts. No wood of course. Would that be better ? Or only with a White car ?

3. Also like the Red natural leather, but perhaps it is too common now. Original Aetna Blue cars often had Red interiors...

4. Also like Deviated Stitching but I'm sure Aetna Blue is not available..

5. No Carbon Brakes, Chrono, Steering Plus, Sp. Exhaust or PDCC.

Do what VW did, and paint each panel a different colour.

A 991 Harlequin.

Why don't you consult with a Porsche Exclusive specialist at any OPC?

I like the idea of a lime gold metallic cab with yachting blue leather and brown hood. Guards red wheels, yellow seat belts and viper green dials would complete the look. Slightly worried the yellow seat belts would upset the harmony and jar a bit though. :hammer:

1. OPC does not even have a colour chart of PTS colours.
2. Thought a 911 Forum would have more informed opinions on colour than a salesman.
3. Not interested in a salesman's opinion on expensive options.
It will be a 2015 so in no hurry.

Erm, PTS is just that: Paint to Sample.

You tell them what colour you want.

Perhaps it mean Special Order colours?

Ok I've worked out the cosmetic stuff: always subjective anyway.

From what I have read so far no need to have PDCC, Carbon Brakes (no tracking) or Steering Plus (not that old yet !). However on the Sports Chrono I am still not sure : any advice ?

Be careful

Everyones tastes are different. My advice would be to be careful. Be very careful. It sounds to me like you have a very individual taste which will be to the liking of only a select few.

The result is that your trade in or resale value drop like a stone. However, if you really want it and want it for yourself and none else, go for it!........

I can't be positive, but I'm pretty sure that the responses you have had are possibly pulling your leg, but like I say if you want something enough, just go for it.

As above comments, also if you are going for a highly personalised colour scheme (what did you settle for in the end?) then the more options that you load the car up with will, IMO, help negate this when (if) you decide to move the car on.

Ultimately though, strong colour mixes will be the deal breakers for many.
