Hi - if i was buying another 911 i would deffo value an OPC warranty - but i am considering a Cayenne diesel and only very few issues on tinternet makes me think they are very reliable.

Is that a reasonable conclusion and if so i guess i am wondering why i would pay an OPC premium...would any owners who did/did not buy from OPC share their thoughts on this please?

Thx

OPC warranty: I would strongly recommend from my personal experience. The warranty covers a lot of stuff which would have costed me an arm and a leg..if gone without it.
It will add on to resale value and peace of mind as well.
Just my view :dont know:

Agreed on the OPC warranty. These are complex cars. Also helps come resale - mine for sale currently with the 1 year OPC warranty to transfer. It's not a diesel though!

'Peace of mind' must account for a lot in these vehicles if they go wrong it can turn into big sums

After years of trouble free Lexus motoring, I bought a 2009 Diesel Cayenne two months ago, basically a VW Toureg in a Porsche costume, would you pay through the nose for an extended VW warranty?

I'm still running with the 6 months warranty I got with the car, at the moment I don't think I'll buy into the Porsche warranty, resale, when you trade in they rape you anyway!

Now the petrol version is a very different kettle of fish completely. IMHO
