Hi all
As mentioned in another post im about to have a major service done and spark plug change is it worth changing igniters while there in there?
Thanks
G

I would say it is worth having them checked for any signs of cracking and change any faulty ones. But I wouldn't change them for the sake of it.

If you find any cracked, change them all (the others will follow soon and the minimal parts costs for the others will pale into insignificance vs labour if you have to get back in there again later, also initial fissures are sometimes not apparent on the remainder)

for future ref.: igniters (BC) = coil packs (AD)
