Best say hi as this is my first post so hello all!

I have somehow managed to loose a key to the 991 already :x

Is it just Porsche who can issue me a new one or are there cheaper alliteratives as i have a feeling this is going to sting. The key was an exculsive colour codded jobby but any normal key is fine.

Many thanks

Pete

Why not try calling an Indy... I know Parr can do them for the 996

Hate to say this, but I had my keys replaced on mine as there is an issue on the convertible function.

I know that the OPC cannot program the keys directly, the car has to be hooked up to the factory to program new keys.

This prevents the likes of the issues that BMW have with their keys at present.

Can you not claim on your household Insurance? Alot of them cover stuff like this? Just say you dropped them in the loo! :D

I purchased the colour coded key option and was surprised to receive three keys when I picked up the car - the colour coded one plus the two non colour coded keys.

Did you not get three keys?

So when you pay the £300 or whatever it costs for the body-coloured key, you only actually get one coloured key?!

I assume they at least painted both of them, given the cost!!
