HELP
I Am trying to fit winter boots to my existing rims, but my local tyre specialist can't find anything t fit the 305 rears, can I fit smaller tryes to this rim or do I have to bite the bullet and by a cheap set of rims? If I go the new rims route what size can I get away with?
Thanks in advance
Chris

My summer tyres are 305, my winters are 295 on the same sized rim.

I think I've also read elsewhere that a 295 rear tyre is suffice for the wide-bodied 997. After all, a thinner width will aid traction in the snow.

:yeah:

Rear: 305/30 19 summer and 295/30 19 winter, both fit on 19x11" ET51 wheels.

Front: same for winter/summer, 235/35 19 on 19x8.5" ET56 wheels.

Have now had chapter and verse on this
235/35 19 and 295/30 19 Pirelli Winter240 Series 2 N1 Rated
