I was at Hatfield OPC today getting my winter tyres put on, that and an air-bag warning light sorted out when I saw this 991 Carrera S.
It's up for sale as an approved Porsche. One previous owner, first registered in July '12 with just under 5k miles and with PDK.
What struck me about it was the duck tail. Up until now I've been fairly indifferent towards the 991 but seeing this today has changed my mind, I think it looks stunning. I really like the wheels as well.
It's going for a snip at £82k.

I was at Hatfield a couple of weeks ago and was checking this 991 out too. It didn't really do it for me for some reason. However, it does look REALLY good in your pictures! Strange. :eh!:

Did you see the 964 Turbo?

I was at Hatfield OPC the other day too and bumped into Roro which he unkindly didn't include in his post :pc:

964 Turbo looks great doesn't it? I also liked the ducktail 991 which Roro unkindly didn't like either. I guess he's just an unkind individual.

I did! Bloody nice isn't it?

I was driving past West London OPC the other day and noticed what looked like a 356 coupe in the window, I must drop by there some time for a good ogle. 8)

I plead temporary dementia. I popped down to see Lee today to sort out my stripes, and I even mentioned to him that I bumped into you at Hatfield that day - but then forgot to mention it here

Well now that I've mentioned it, it would be rude not to post up a picture of the 964, albeit in the wrong forum.

Exactly the reason not to buy one. I read somewhere there's 10k off 991's this month. The price hike is just too much from the 997.

Sorry but that 991, to me, looks like a life size version of a Matchbox Hot Wheels toy. Wheels all wrong and ducktail too obvious.

Now that 964....yes please!

Interesting many of the OPC's are selling/displaying older cars.

£108k 991 ducktail vs. brand new 997 turbo s :dont know:

Whoooosh!! :bandit:

I think we're pushing the same open door Steve.
If faced with +£20k reduction for the sake of a previous owner and 5k on the clock then you won't find me in the new 991 but the 5 month old one, equally a 997 Turbo S (phenomenal car) would, for me, be the more attractive option over a brand new 991, even with duck tail.....but £82k does turn the head but not quite enough.
The GTS, for me, remains an absolute cracker and will be staying with me for a good while yet.
