hi,

im having problems with my Porsche cayenne 3.2 v6 2004 model cayenne Central Sat/nav radio system screen.

it keeps flickering/losing colour/going white.. until i push the corners randomly and it goes back to normal (when it wants to)

does anyone know of where i can get this fixed, or an alternative cost effective replacement.. Porsche are quoting ridiculous figures for this to be replaced!

thanks

Hi Ram. I have had my V6 a few months now and it has started doing the same thing. I find it sorts itself out if you select maps and then flick back to the main screen. Not ideal!!

Looking around online there are some threads on Renntech and also youtube about replacing the screen. It looks like you can get the screens from US eBay and then DIY swap them. I think I also read somewhere that they are a Becker unit and that some Becker agents may be able to do this for you.

It's something I need to sort out and when I do I will post results. Won't be for a while though - so will be interested to see what you find.

Anthony.

thanks
