Cayenne Remote Key Problems

hi

ever since i went to my local mechanic with my Porsche Cayenne 2004 V6 3.2 model, the remote key only opens all other doors, after i open the driver door... does anyone know how i can reset this? i went back to the mechanic and they say its merant to be like that... even though i never had this problem for the past 5 years i owned the car :sad:
