Porsche is putting the finishing touches on the facelifted Panamera, but new details are starting to emerge about the upcoming Pajun (Panamera Junior).
Set to be launched in late 2016 or early 2017, the mid-size model will battle the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class. It will reportedly ride on the MSB platform and be available as a five-door hatchback and a shooting brake that has a longer roofline and a third side window.
Power will likely be provided by a variety of V6 engines. Nothing is official, but choices are expected to include:
A 3.0-litre V6 TDI with outputs of 260 hp (194 kW / 264 PS) and 320 hp (239 kW / 324 PS)
A 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine with outputs of 320 hp (239 kW / 324 PS) and 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS)
A Pajun Turbo is also expected and it could use a turbocharged petrol engine which produces 520 hp (388 kW / 527 PS) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque.
