Would these fit my Carrera 4

Those are narrow body fitment.

Assuming you have a 996 C4 (not C4S), they will fit.

I will leave advice on (oversize) after-market wheels to others.

Thanks for the quick reply, i will listen to any advice on wheels and tyres.

I have the original alloys still on the car, its the only part i am unhappy with :)
